For Out-of-State Patients
We are excited to announce that telehealth services are now available for cash-pay patients in select states. This new option allows families who do not live in Kentucky to begin care with us from the comfort of their own home.
What We’re Starting With
At this time, we are initially focusing on treatment options that many families ask about, including:
Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Leucovorin (folinic acid)
These treatments can be started through a telehealth visit, with follow-up appointments scheduled virtually. Over time, we plan to expand these services to include comprehensive evaluations, ongoing management, and additional treatment options in these states.
What to Expect
Cash Pay Only: At this time, insurance is not accepted for out-of-state telehealth visits.
Initial Visit: The first appointment will focus on reviewing your child’s medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals.
Follow-Up Care: We will carefully monitor response to treatment and adjust dosages as needed.
Future Expansion: Additional services, including autism and ADHD evaluations, will be added as we expand our telehealth reach.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need labs before starting?
In most cases, no initial labs are required to start LDN or leucovorin. If labs are recommended later, we can provide an order for your local lab.
How will prescriptions be sent?
Prescriptions will be sent directly to your local pharmacy or, in some cases, a compounding pharmacy that mails medications.
What about insurance?
Currently, out-of-state services are available on a cash-pay basis only. Patients are welcome to request an itemized bill if they would like to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Will you add other services later?
Yes. As we grow, we will be expanding to include autism evaluations, ADHD evaluations, functional medicine testing, and integrative treatment options for families outside of Kentucky.
Let’s Get You Scheduled Sooner!
This is not our typical process — we’re simply doing our best to keep things running smoothly during these extremely busy times while training new staff who can give each family the personal attention they deserve on the phone.
If you’re comfortable sharing your child’s information (name, date of birth, and a valid email address), we can send the new patient paperwork right away. Completing this paperwork early helps us streamline your experience, reduce waiting times, and get your appointment scheduled faster.
Once your paperwork is complete, just call or email us — we’ll be happy to finalize your appointment and answer any questions you may have.
